15 Year Reunion Planning has begun
Hey guys,
Reunion planning for our 15 year has begun.
Our reunion date is confirmed for July 12th-13th 2013 in Wayne, Nebraska. Mindell Rethwisch and Adam Endicott booked the Wayne Vets Club (220 Main Street - Wayne, NE 68787) Everything else according to Mindy and Adam has already been booked.
Now that we have a venue, what do we want to do?

Are you coming?
I need to get a head count of who will be attending our very own 10 year Wayne High School Class Renunion, July 11th - 12th in good old Wayne, America.
1.Please let me know how many including yourself: Children, Spouse, or other. [I am not going to list all the possibilities here....]
If you are not coming, I would like to know as well.
2.Will you be playing in our golf tournament?
3.Will you be on the float during the "Chicken Days" parade?
4.Will you be helping decorate the float the night before? [If we ever come up with an idea first] Who is bringing the beers?
5.Would you like to be a part of the "Pool Party" at the Wayne Public pool? [Mostly for the kiddos or all of us??]
6.Will you be at the bar Friday?
7.Will you be at the bar Saturday?
8.Are you looking forward to it? Any suggestions?

Happy New Year 2008!
I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I hope everyone had a great 2007 and a fresh start on 2008.
I met up with Amanda [Hochstein] Zulkosky last night and had a great catch up at a local bar in Denver. She lives here as well. She said I was a bit overboard on the emails and on contacting everyone. I agreed. But, for my offense/defense, I wanted to get a hold of everyone and make sure I did my job. I am not sure if an apology is necessary, but, I am glad I have contacted you all and have had such a great response. So, for that, I am sorry. :)
Soon, I will be sending out an RSVP type email to see if you are attending. I would like to get head counts [children, spouse, girl/boy friends, etc.] to make the planning go smoothly.
Also, please please please, send me your updates for the newsletter. I have not had a response from many of ya'll.

Reunion :: Schedule updated 7.09.08
Chicken Days/10 Year Reunion is not too far away. Here is the OFFICIAL schedule.
Friday:
7:00pm - Meet at Middle School for tour with Jessica Sebade. Then walk to High School for tour around 7:30ish. CONFIRMED Tour of the High School with Principal Mark Hanson and the Middle School with Jessica Sebade.
8:00pmish after MS & HS tour – Meet to decorate float behind Carla Kemp’s house [516 West 5th Street] next to the High School. [Beer and fun will be provided!]
10:00pm – Fireworks, Hank Overin Field
NIGHT - Then for those who wish to, off to the White Dog, Riley’s and Uncle Dave’s, downtown Wayne.
Saturday:
9:00am - Meet for parade float on Pearl Street – Wear DARK BLUE. That is our theme this year. Go crazy or just wear dark blue. Link for Chicken Show events here: http://www.chickenshow.com/events/ [I recommend a flask?]
9:30am – World Famous [So I've heard] Chicken Show Parade
12pm – Meet at “Tacos and More” with others for lunch if you wish.
1pm – Meet at golf course at 1:00pm [for those that want to golf] – 18 holes is $28, I have 4 tee times reserved for 16 people. Tee times are 12:52, 1:00, 1:08, & 1:16. I think I might cancel the 12:52 time. If you are playing, you are responsible for green fees, clubs and such. DRESS CODE: Collared shirts are not required. T-shirts are permitted. Jeans are allowed. INAPPROPRIATE ATTIRE: Tank tops. Cut-offs.
6pm – Meet at Wayne Public Swimming Pool for family and fun pool time, great for the kids. Cost is $4.50 for adults, $3.50 for 6-12 and $3.00 for under 5. Hours: 1p-5p open swim. 6p-7p family hour and then 7p-8:30p is open swim.
7pm – Meet at Wayne Country Club for Reunion Food and Drinks. $20 per adult and $8 per child. Cost includes drinks, food and space rental. Please send payments to my email account through PayPal.com: wright4design@yahoo.com if you can. This will help our purchasing of the food and drinks ahead of time. Cash will be taken at the door as well.

Golf Outing: This is going to be completely casual, I do not want to scare others into thinking you need to be good or even know how to play golf. This will make it much more enjoyable and fun for everyone. I want to have awards for best score and worst score, etc. etc. I want those that do not want to play to be our designated drivers [who can still drink if you wish] that is the great thing about golf, you can have an open container, a small little legal loop-hole. I really would like to get a fun and enjoyable tournament organized so that we all are hanging out together first and "fore"most rather than trying to play a real game of golf. I think this will ease your thoughts on being involved. You can rent clubs if you do not have any, barrow or share. Also, spouses and significant others are ENCOURAGED to join us. If you just want to hang out, the Country Club has a bar and a very nice outdoor patio to relax, hang out and maybe break dance at.

Parade Float Theme :: Ideas???
As of now we do not have a theme. Please voice your opinion on what you would like us to do, wear, look like, etc.
We have a flat bed trailer lined up and are looking into the entry registration. Somehow it happened last year...so I am not worried about it.
Schedule:
Friday July 13th 7pm – meet behind Carla's Dad's house [West 5th + Sherman] to decorate the float and drink. Oh...I just noticed "FRIDAY THE 13TH"....spooky.
Parade starts at 9:30am Saturday and the floats line up at "1st + Pearl" Streets
I think we should be there ready to go at 9:29am...no real need to be early unless you are driving the tractor/pickup/buggy/semi...whatever we get.
So, what are some ideas???

Update :: You, what's new??
Please write up an update on what you have been doing. Here you can tell us what you have been doing since High School. I know we all have done SOMETHING in the last 10 years. Be as descriptive or brief as you wish, just give a simple update is all we all request.
Some topics we all may be interested in [to get those little wheels a grindin']: Where you are living and how you got there, a new someone in your life, creation of new someones with your new someone, that thing you do that pays for your things, new accomplishments, big vacations, or just maybe something you just have to get off your chest? As I have been reconnecting with most of you, there is a voice in the back of all of our heads wondering, "What is everyone up to??" This may even spur something to talk about when we finally do get together July 11th and 12th of next year.
Can't wait to hear it. I will also be using this to compile our "News Letter"
